Monuments and Museums: Day 4

Completely bagged this day after the previous day's marathon, and didn't wake up until 11AM.

Had our new favourite breakfast (yes - that's granola with 70% cocoa chocolate in it)...

and headed out to Musée d'Orsay.  We took a different train route which was a bit confusing, but we got to see some different views on the way into the city.  We got off at Les Invalides and got our first view of the huge complex.

It's a quick walk over to the Musée d'Orsay, but did see some unusual sights.

Once we got to the museum, there was a bit of a crowd, including these nuns taking pics of the statues of naked ladies.

Photography is not allowed in the museum, so I have no evidence that we were there.  It was good, but very crowded.  The building itself is amazing, and I would have loved to take some pics.  By the time we got there, we barely had two hours, so we only saw part of the first floor.

At last, home by a decent hour...grabbed some "crevettes" (shrimp) at the very crowded Monoprix and had a relaxing evening before turning in.
